What is RPO?
RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) means handing all or part of your recruiting process to an external partner that works as an extension of your HR team. At Hires we cover everything from operational roles to middle and senior management in eight Latin American countries, with our own legal entity in each one and AI agents that speed up the process.
When does RPO make sense?
It makes sense if…
- Your HR team is small and needs more hands or resources for recruiting, without adding fixed headcount.
- You hire steadily throughout the year, or in waves: openings, new projects, growth spurts.
- You need to fill roles at different levels from operational positions to middle and senior management.
- You hire in more than one Latin American country and would rather work with one partner that has a local legal presence in each.
When it doesn't
- You have a single, one-off search this year. A traditional search, which we also run, is probably a better fit.
- What you need is to employ someone in another country, not find them. That's what our Employer of Record service is for.
- You're not sure which model fits. We'll tell you honestly in our first conversation.

Frequently asked questions
What is RPO and how is it different from a traditional search?
RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) means handing all or part of your recruiting to a partner that works as an extension of your HR team. A traditional search fills one specific role; RPO gives you ongoing capacity for multiple roles over time.
When does it make sense to outsource recruiting?
When your HR team is small and needs more hands or resources without adding fixed headcount, and when hiring is steady or comes in waves. If you only have one search a year, a traditional search is usually a better fit.
What is agentic RPO?
It's our RPO powered by artificial intelligence agents. The agents analyze every application in minutes, pre-select the profiles that fit best and give feedback to every candidate in the process, while our recruiters focus on interviewing, assessing and supporting hiring managers.
Which roles does Hires' RPO cover?
Roles at every level, from operational positions to middle and senior management (analyst to director), which is our specialty.
Which Latin American countries does Hires operate in?
Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Panama and Brazil. We have our own legal entity in all eight, where we invoice and employ locally.
How quickly do you present candidates?
We present the first candidates within 5 to 10 days.
How many searches do I need for RPO?
There's no single number: RPO makes sense when demand is steady or comes in waves. As a reference, we run an RPO engagement of around 40 searches a year. We can also start with a pilot project.
Can you also employ people in another country?
Yes. With our Employer of Record (EOR) service we are the legal employer through our own entity in each of the eight countries, and we handle contracts, payroll and local compliance.
